Udupi, Nov 14: A husband in Udupi has complained about assault on him by his wife.
Shivalli Doddanagudde resident Mohammed Rafiq (39) is the complainant. His wife Bathulla Tharanam originally from Shivamogga is the accused in the case.
As per the complaint, the couple has been married for 11 years. Of late they have been having some differences on some issues regarding rent of the new house.
On November 12, the rent issue surfaced again during the argument and Tharanam allegedly attacked her husband with a knife on his chest and shoulders. Then she allegedly pushed him by holding his neck.
Udupi town police have registered the case.
