Puttur: Karate Khadar, accused in murder case arrested

Puttur, Nov 14: A person wanted in a murder case and also in various cases has been arrested by Vittal police.

Abdul Khadar (25) alias Karate Khadar from Settibettu of Kanyana in Bantwal taluk is the person arrested.

On June 15, Khadar had allegedly attempted to murder Pilinguli Satish Shetty. Then he was arrested by the Kerala police on the alleged conspiracy to attack Aziz murder suspects.

Subsequently he was released on conditional bail. The Vittal police who had learned that Khadar would come to Manjeshwar police station every Wednesday had gone there to arrest him.

Khadar changed his plan and came later on Thursday to evade arrest. But the police team led by Sub Inspector Pramod managed to arrest him and bring to Vittal.

He has been remanded to judicial custody.
