Bengaluru, Nov 16: The family court in Bengaluru has ordered actor Vijay of Duniya fame, fondly called as ‘Duniya Viji’ to pay a monthly maintenance of Rs. 30,000 to his wife Nagaratna.

Nagaratna had applied for a monthly maintenance of Rs. 60,000.

The court has directed Nagaratna not to visit Vijay’s house for any reason. She has also been told not to see her children at school and not talk to media about Vijay.

The children while produced in court wished to remain with the father. Hence the custody has been given to Vijay.

On humanitarian grounds the court has allowed the mother to see her children twice a month. The days have also been fixed as first and last Tuesday of a month. The Ganapathy temple at Basavanagudi has been specified as a place for the meeting of mother and children.

The high profile divorce case of Duniya star Vijay and Nagaratna was talk of town with both the parties accusing each other in public. The couple were married for 15 years with three children.
