Mysuru: Man, granddaughter accidentally fall into well, die

Mysuru, Nov 17: A man with his granddaughter fell into a well by accident and both of them have died.

The incident took place at Kurubahalli village of Krishnanagara taluk near Mysuru. Doddegowda (65) and his son’s daughter Veena (13) are the deceased.

As per reports, the grandfather and his granddaughter had gone to their field near Shambulingeshwara temple. They together brought some coriander leaves from the field and were on their way home. Then when Veena went to wash the coriander leaves in a well, she slipped and fell into the well. Doddegowda who tried to save her also fell.

Later it was discovered that both were dead before their bodies could be taken out from the well. Saligrama police have registered the case.
