Once behind the wheel the drivers think that they rule the roads, without respecting the pedestrians, funniest part is when these drivers are busy with their mobiles. Not only risking their lives but also others on the roads. Police should be strict with the offenders. The drivers are not aware of the stop line rule in Mangalore.

Fortuner cost around 25 lacs, definitely the driver will be some rich person or a spoiled brat!!

Victims should thank their stars that their life and limbs are safe, that is the biggest miracle!!

The driver should be given the stringiest punishment as per law and made to compensate all the vehicle owners whose cars got mutilated by his negligence!!

BTW, many high ended SUVs are seen speeding around in Mangluru off late, most of the passengers think they are flying in a "Udan Khatola" to try to impress the general public!!

Traffic was brought to control, but what about Fortuner Driver? Where is he? What are our Authorities doing about him now? Please ensure he is punished accordingly, suspend his Driving Licence for 06 months. Also hope the owners of damaged vehicles get enough compensation. If this Fortuner Driving person is some influential person, then am sure no further action will be taken. Unfortunately that is how Indian Judiciary systems work.
Come on Authorities please show that you do justice to public and ensure stringent action is taken against this offending person.

Dear Concerned Authorites, Please install a correct program for speeding vehicles. Our buses drivers drive as if thats their last trip ever and they will en cash money only in that trip. Serious action must be taken in Mangalore, we are talking of developing Managlore into a SMART city...please first take care of the traffic rules and penalise the culprits. Please make rules where if the driver offends the rules, his license is cancelled and he cant drive within Karanataka limits. I'm sure it will help to some extent. Specially with these heavy 4 wheel drivers and Buses. We citizens of Mangalore find it more unsafe because of these negligent drivers.

Its unfortunate that police r inactive in the case of using mobile by the 4 wheeler and 2 wheeler. Its disgusting to see few 2 wheelers riding while talking by holding the phone on the shoulder and police r turning their head on the other side.this should be viewed seriously.Even police r also exception in using phones while driving.

Too many people in mangalore use cell phones when driving. The cops ought to take this on a serious note and impose a heavy penalty on such irresponsible drivers. They are a hazard to all on the road. Its only in mangalore that you find such drivers because of the shoddy traffic cops. They are too busy tryin to pull out unlicensed riders and signal jumpers whereas there are even more grave problems to be dealt with.
