Mangaluru: St Theresa’s School hosts annual day celebration

Mangaluru, Nov 23: St Theresa’s School, Bendur hosted its annual day celebration 'Her World in Perfect Harmony' on Friday November 21 at 5 pm in the school premises.

Sr M Lillis, vice-president, Bethany Education Society, Mangaluru, Walter D’mello, DDPI, Mangaluru, Sr Assumpta general councilor, Sr Sandhya, superior of Bethany convent, principal & PTA president Sr Premitha, PTA vice-president Marian Saldanha were the dignitaries in attendance.

On the occasion of annual day celebration, students also presented a fun-filled evening of song, dance and drama, a kaleidoscope, vividly celebrating the life of a girl child.

Sr Sandhya, the superior of the Bethany community welcomed the august gathering. Sr Premitha, principal acquainted the gathering of the remarkable achievements in various fields of activity.

Presidential address was delivered by S Lillies, the vice-president of the Bethany Educational Society. In her speech she said, “All of us desire that our children must be smart. Smartness alone does not suffice. If they grow in goodness they will make correct choices in life”.

Chief guest Walter D’mello, DDPI, expressed that in this advanced technological world, it was not only the duty of the parents to send the ward to the school, but it was their responsibility to cater to their needs in a right way and import love.

Sanchana Subraya and Taeesh Assadi of class 10 compered the programme.
