Puttur: Man murdered due to property dispute

Puttur, Nov 25: In an incident which occurred at Nellithadka within Kalanja village near Uppinangady in the taluk, a person named Balakrishna Mogera (30), was murdered with a cudgel. The incident occurred on Monday November 25 evening.

It is gathered that Mogera was murdered by the brother of his wife, Ramesh. Mogera, who was hit hard on his head, died on the spot. It is said that Ramesh had a grudge against his brother-in-law relating to property dispute.

A complaint stands registered in Uppinangady polie station. Investigation has begun. More details are awaited.
