Kasargod, Nov 30: Kumble station police arrested Mohammed Ameen (40) for sexually harassing a minor girl. Ameen resides in a rented house in Bandyodu Adka in Ernakulam.
The man was arrested on receipt of complaints that he had sexually harassed the girl and was showing indecent pictures of her on his laptop. When he was questioned, he admitted that he had harassed five other girls in a similar manner.
The accused has been staying with his wife in their rented house at Adka for the last five years. Ameen was abroad and came back only two months ago. His wife is said to be working as a tailor, and he was reportedly showing indecent pictures to children in her absence.
Police have seized the laptop and indecent CDs from him. A team led by Kumble circle inspector P Suresh Babu is investigating.
