Golden jubilee inauguration of Naravi High School held

Belthangady, Dec 8: St Antony's Educational Institutions day and Golden Jubilee inauguration of Naravi High School was held recently.

The function commenced with cultural programme by the children. The stage programme began after that at 6 pm. Dr Aloysius Paul D' Souza, Bishop of Mangaluru presided over the function and inaugurated the Jubilee logo of the High School.

















Chief guests Fr Jerald D' Souza, secretary, CBE, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, dean, Belthangady deanery, K Vasanth Bangera, MLA, Ivan D' Souza, MLC, Sr Gratia, sister superior, Laxmi Shetty, panchayat president, Anil Roshan, vice president of pastoral council, Mable Fernandes, secretary, Sr Asha, headmistress, Sr Mary, headmistress and Pavithra, in charge headmistress, were present.

Correspondent Fr Louis Cutinha welcomed and principal Fr Arun Wilson Lobo thanked. Lilly and Avil compered the programme. A cultural programme was staged by the students in the end.

    Apt words from a student of the school Mr.Periera who has been thrived to reach greater heights in life.There are sags of such cases in every schools in rural areas espcially in our beautiful Dakshina Kannada dist.Schools and temples,churches,majids,Basadis are the eyes of the soceity wherein these institutions help the childrens of the soceity to come up in life in simplest ways.The memories of school days remain ever green in ones memory even through acquires higher education/achives greater heights in life.These were common in yester years but now a days situation has changed according change in advancement in life style.If we see todays mindset of our children at large in DK it is obviously a sea change.They are restive and intolertant even though they well placed in conforts in study life.
