Mangaluru, Dec 11: The body of Naveen Acharya from Maryhill Gurunagara in the city was found on the driver's seat of his car on Tuesday December 9. Acharya owned a jewellery shop here. Apparently, this happens to be a case of suicide.

Acharya had left home on the morning of December 8 for his shop. He had not returned home that night. On the next morning, family members saw Acharya sitting on the driver's seat of his car, which was parked in its parking slot. A closer inspection revealed that Acharya was no more.

A suicide note found from the pocket of Acharya said that Shivananda Ketli from Mescom, Narayana Bondel, Tony Contractor and Puttur Ramachandra Acharya were responsible for his death. The note also has provided cell phone numbers of these persons, and mentioned the total amount due as Rs 13,35,000.

Acharya's wife, Shwetha, said in a complaint filed with the police, that her husband faced financial crisis as the people who had outstandings turned defaulters. She said having been frustrated with life on this account, Naveen Acharya had ended his life.

The police have begun invesitgation into the matter.

    I always Feel People who commit suicide are selfish.., To end their pain they kill themselves and forever they are gone from this world.., For one moment WHY don't they they think about their dependents their loved ones.., Who is going to fill the vacuum these people create ?

    Sad to see Mangalore that was once upon a time a calm quiet city with so much of communal harmony is no more the same. Day by day the cases of suicides, riots , disharmony ,murders are on the increase in the city. Money, Power is the root cause of such evil prevailing. Love for money blinds the eyes of the people. People's focus is changed-its on money rather than on God.

    Instead of writing the name of his defaulters in his suicide note , he should have handed over the details to police being alive. Now since he is dead the people responsible for his death should be punished so that there should not be more suicides because of them,

    Incurring loss in any business is a normal thing. Cut your cloth according to the cloth. Always set a stop loss edge to avert the disaster and thus become bankrupt.

    Ending life is cowardliness. Defaulters should be legally dealt with and they have not asked his lender to commit suicide.

    I pity the family of the victim.

    I pity for the family of this man who committed suicide. Must disapprove his cowards act. He should've had enough courage to face life. He can not blame others for his failure.If he was cheated by anyone, there is police & law to support him.

    Who are these people, that made this man end his life. Police have to do a good inspection of these people and give them their duly treatment for playing with this man's death. See how they manage to take so much of money from this man. Get their complete history and what are they doing for their living. Give them a good living in the jail forever and ever if found guilty of this man's death.

    just the death note will not make it to take action against them, I mean whose ever names mentioned there. It's not right from the Acharya that he closed his life and then keeping a note. He could have taken that from a legal point of. Either compliant on their defaulting , if he had evidences. if there is no evidences, then it's wrong from Acharya's side that he lent money with out proper clauses. But any ways, lose is for Acharya's family who lost their bread earner.
