Udupi: District BJP claims website hacked

Udupi, Dec 11: District BJP spokesperson Mattar Ratnakar Hegde has said that the Udupi district BJP website has been hacked and is filled with matters concerning Pakistan. “It is filled with insults to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders”, he said.

“The country is threatened and the BJP strongly condemns the incident”, added Hegde. He said that it was a serious matter as several national agencies were severely criticized in the hacked website. “It is dangerous for our democratic set-up. It is possible that people within the country are involved in it”, he added.

A complaint has been lodged at Udupi police station in this regard, he said in a press statement.
