Kasargod, Dec 11: Unknown miscreants set fire to a political leader's house in Kumble on Thursday December 11. Fortunately, the occupants of the house managed to escape unscathed.

Mohammed from Bambrana P K Nagar, a member of the district Muslim League, is the owner of the house which was set on fire.

As per details, the occupants of the house heard some sound in the morning at 3 o'clock which woke them up. They were horrified to realize that their house was burning with the fire in the kitchen. They immediately informed the neighbours who helped to extinguish the fire in time before it could reach the gas cylinder.

The kitchen part of the house has been damaged badly. It has been conclusively discovered that the miscreants had thrown papers and waste cloths from the window with kerosene before setting fire.

The role of sand mafia has been strongly suspected as Mohammed had shown his displeasure on the illegal sand mining in the area.

Kumble police have registered the complaint and are investigating the case.

    Don't omit poison on any community. Be like a human. It will be always good for us n for our dependents.No one religion allow such kind of behaviour. The present on going trend is the intention n trend for their benefit. Devide n rule with blood shed of common people. They never be in front line. Pls stop

    Jinnah's muslim league divided the country! he said he cant live with Hindus! ... that party is the ONLY communal party in India (besides owaisis' MIM- some muslimeen)! ... even dalits have a "REPUBLICAN PARTY OF INDIA"... no one uses their religion as much as Muslim league! You may deny it! .... You will see In Delhi election when Owaisi wins seats! just liek he did byculla and aurangabad! ...secualrism is for others like NM! .... sach kadwa hota hai meri jaan! )
