Bengaluru, Dec 12: A BBM student, who happens to be a native of Kerala, Christopher Alexander (19), committed suicide in his room in a seminary near Christ University in Bhavaninagar near Mico Layout in the city on Wednesday, December 11.

The policemen said that first year BBM student of Dayananda Sagar College was admitted into the seminary by his mother, with whom he lived in Bhavaninagar, because of his stubborn behaviour and with the hope that his stay there would have positive influence on his behaviour.

On Wednesday, Christopher, who lived in a separate room, did not come out even after 9 pm. The staff of the seminary,growing suspicious,broke open the door, and found that the youth had hanged himself to the rods of the window with the help of his tie.

Mico Layout police, who registered the case, said that they found a death note in which the boy, in addition to apologizing to his mother, stated that no one was responsible for his death.

Christopher Alexander was the brother of noted cine actress, Cathrine Trisa. His sister, Cathrine, and father stayed in Hyderabad, while his mother lives in the city, police revealed.
