Mangalore, Nov 28: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national general secretary Gandhi Azad was in the city to inaugurate the Bahujan Sankalp Divas at the Town Hall here on Monday November 27.
Speaking on the occasion, Azad remembered the efforts of BSP leader Kanshiram who worked for the welfare of dalits and said that He gave the example of Dr B R Ambedkar and called upon the people to initiate action in building a Baudha Bharath.
He expressed hope that BSP leader Mayawati would come in to power in UP in the next elections.
