Mangaluru: 18-year-old youth missing since Dec 5

Mangaluru, Dec 13: An youngster is reported to have gone missing since over a week, and the police have sought help from public to trace him.

As per a complaint filed by Asif Khan, a resident of Nellikai Kunil Towers, Bunder, his sister's son Afzal (18) went missing on December 5.

The complaint states that on December 5, at around 12.30 pm, Afzal had left home saying that he was going to the mosque on Nellikai road for prayers. Since then, he has not returned home.

His family members have searched for him in relatives' houses and other places, but in vain.

Mangalore South police registered a case on Thursday December 11 in this regard.

Afzal is 5.6 ft tall and has a wheatish complexion. He speaks Tulu, Hindi, Kannada and Urdu.

At the time he went missing, he was wearing a white long kurta and brown trousers.
