Mumbai, Nov 29: Sourav Ganguly may stage a come back and find a place in the Indian cricket team that will play three Test matches against South Africa in December, informed sources said here on Tuesday night.
The national selection committee will meet on Thursday to pick the team for the Test series, which will follow the one-day matches in which India has so far performed poorly.
The former skipper, who has been out of the team after playing the Karachi Test against Pakistan early this year, has lately displayed good batting and bowling form in domestic matches to strengthen his claim for a place in the national side.
The Test series against South Africa begins on December 15.
