Mangaluru: BJP, Congress two faces of same coin, AAP to emerge again: Ravikrishna Reddy

Mangaluru, Dec 15: "People gave mandate to Congress party in Dakshina Kannada (in Assembly elections) against BJP's fundamentalism and corruption. But BJP and Congress are two faces of the same coin," said Ravikrishna Reddy, state spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

He was addressing a press meet at AAP office here on Monday December 15.

Commenting on moral policing and the communal tension in the district, he said, "Repeated incidents of moral policing have given bad name to the city. The Congress government has failed to encourage progressive thoughts among people and thereby prevent communal violence and moral policing."

Congratulating deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim on his good administration, he said, "Ministers of this district have failed to provide good administration. Taking the initiative himself, the deputy commissioner is doing good work in the district."

Informing that the district unit of AAP would emerge again, he said, "The AAP is forming committees at all levels following the model of internal democracy. Under the name of Mission Vistar, independent observers are appointing the committees. Even in Karnataka independent observers will be announcing district and state committees. This will increase the party's activities."

He also said that within two weeks, a new DK district committee will be formed.

Dr Mercy Pinto demanded that the state government immediately appoint a commissioner for Mangalore City Corporation.

Rohan Shiri and Alexander D' Souza were present.

In recent times many good people are inspired by AK to join politics. Yesterday in an interview our present president daughter said this with Bharkh Dutt. AK freed politics from the goons and handed it to Aam Admi and Aurth. He also proved that with little clean money elections could be contested and won. On grounds of principle he gave up Delhi CM chair though some think it was weakness I think Delhi citizens are smart and will give him a second chance. We all who are honest deserve a second. chance.

Which we condemn. Unquote.

You say we don’t support. Who are these WE. Mere 1 percent of this in India are creating havoc and no one to stop them. Where is your WE???!!!
Of Course all have right to accept ones faith, to propagate and to convert however not by force or by terrorizing. That is what I am pointing out to you and against this RSS, Baj Ranga dal, Sangh Parivar, Sri Rama Sene etc who are radical Hindu outfits. The Chaaiwaala himself is a RSS radical outfit.

    Dear Lexy Saldanha, Mangaluru-Sydney/Australia,

I quote yours: Even Abraham Lincoln worked in the railway yard as a helper and became president of USA. Unquote.

Don’t compare Abraham Lincoln and this idiot Chaaiwaala .
    1) Abraham Lincoln may have worked as a labour. Whereas this chaaiwaala is a business man.
    2) Almost all business men are deceivers, liars and corrupt, some are even killers. This is their business
    3) We don’t know how many chaaiwaala deceived without giving exact changes while selling chaai in the trains.
    4) While he was a Chief Minister he threw away all the constitutional laws into the hands of looters, thugs, goondas and killers to commit atrocities and massacres.
Abraham Lincoln was a secularist and a gem of the U.S., who abolished slavery.
I quote yours: The change of the city names in Karnataka was initiated and announce officially by CM Siddu led Congress govt on Rajothsava day, you should ask him about it than us,Unquote.

I said changing of the names of places is politically motivated. I did not specify in my comments congress or bjp.
I quote yours: we would like to address cities by Indian names, Unquote.

    Hello Mr. Gonsalves,

You are entitled to your opinion and comments and i respect that,

The change of the city names in Karnataka was initiated and announce officially by CM Siddu led Congress govt on Rajothsava day, you should ask him about it than us, we would like to address cities by Indian names, we also want current Karnataka govt to develop all these cities with 24hrs electricity, good roads, infrastructure, schools, employment opportunities etc, not just changing names.

RSS, Baj Ranga dal, Sangh Parivar, Sri Rama Sene etc are radical hindu outfits, we don't support their radical ideologies, they have every right to fight for their religious freedom if they feel so, but they have no right to convert or force conversion of people from other faith, which is happening in North India, this is wrong and dangerous to secular India. Which we condemn.

It is always a decency to respect a democratically elected prime Minister, regardless of one like him or not, he is the PM of every citizen of India, not just for his party men, there is nothing wrong a chaiwalla rising up to be a PM, it is good for India, every person from humble beginning should be a PM, every citizen of India has a right to be a PM if his party chooses him as PM candidate and voters elect him. PM post is not a birth right of dynasty belonging to one family, if Mr. Modi sold Tea at railway station as a young boy for his living, what is wrong in that, there is dignity of labour. Even Abraham Lincoln worked in the railway yard as a helper and became president of USA.

Regarding me living in Australia is concerned. I could not get a suitable job in India and struggled to do a living, so migrated to Australia, did my education here, secured a good well paid job, i invest money in India and contribute towards Indian economy, i do lot of charity work in India without any fun fare, i am an overseas citizen of India having same legal rights like every Indian

    Dear Lexy Saldanha, Mangaluru/Sydney-Australia

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU & TO YOUR FAMILY.

I quote yours: Mangalore is now officially called Mangaluru, please address it with Indian name. Unquote.

Changing of names all over India are politically motivated. Is this a development?!

We respect all citizens of this world. Not only India but Singapore, Australia, U.S.A., Chaaiwaala and Dr. Manmohan Singhji. When the earth quake struck Gujarat, from all over the world helped us. So we love not only Indian citizens but we love all the citizens of this world.

You are well aware of in a difficult situation how Dr. Manmohan Singhji had sustained the economy who was an architect of Indian Economy while recession struck India & all over the world.

Since British entered India this chaddi RSS are behind Christians. Are you aware?!

Before British we were ruled by petty, petty rulers and British have united us and brought India into one Umbrella. The present all India Radio was from the British.

Now British have left the country yet the animosity of Chaddi RSS towards Christians hasn’t been left.
Are you aware of in a democratic country we have right to protest when blunders are committed. The country is heading towards divide of communities due to RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal and this Chaddi RSS Chaaiwaala is Moun/Silent as he did in Gujarat who gave free hand to commit atrocities & massares. Are you aware of.

    Was Gujarat developed or Fake.

Citizens are realizing & feeling sorry for voting chaaiwaala N.R.I. P.M., who never works & does only 24X7 TV speeches.

If you love India why are you in Sydney/Australia and Singapore. Come down & serve the nation along with us. Common. Even the N.R.I. Election campaigner of Chaaiwaala left U.S.A., Why?! Couldn’t he stayed back for his Acchhe Dhin?!

I know you through your comments since elections you are behind this fake developments person Chaaiwaala.

Gone are the days when Daiji readers used to support AAP. AAP candidate lost his deposit in the Election. Sorry for AAP. Looks like no future in DK.
And Secondly a no. of comments against MODI, most of them with personal remarks and hatred. I consider this as pure jealousy and frustration. May be his ways are debatable, BUT TAKE FROM ME, WE HAVE NO OTHER OPTION LEFT. The Congress Party was given a long Rope, which they have misused. and all the regional parties have made a lot of money with the help of Congress with a very convenient terminology "COALITION COMPULSION"

    Dear Mr. Gonsalves,
Merry Christmas to you and your family, happy & prosperous New Year.
Mangalore is now officially called Mangaluru, please address it with Indian name, British have left India long back in yr 1947. get used to Indian name.
BJP & Congress are two faces of the same coin, we have seen congress led UPA rule for past 10yrs, they were corrupt & pathetic, just like BJP's rule in Karnatka, please accept that.
Mr. Modi is our PM, your PM and PM of entire India, just like his predecessor how Mr. Dr. Manmohan Singh was, learn to respect the elected PM, he has been elected democratically by Indian voters, whether you like it or not.
We are not followers or fan of PM Mr. Narendra Modi nor his BJP's ideologies, but we respect him, because he is the PM of Republic of India.
We have given Congress 60yrs and seen them, why can't we give Mr. Modi led NDA at least 5yrs and then voters will judge accordingly during the ballot in yr 2019 lok sabha election.

After Loksabha Disaster, Congress deserted them , in Haryana & Maharastra, as that was failed experiment! .. and Kejri was lacking serious funds!!

Thanks to Owaisi, who still sees some potential in him, has connected him with Arabs and he has got good funding! Even Ford foundation is revised their contract in his US meeting..! I am glad now, he can give it back to Congress also, else they were under their clutches, for funding!... with this you can see more candidates, fielded in Delhi and rest of state elections!... soon, the Middleast Dirham will fill Government treasury of election commission, via forfieted deposits!
