Mangaluru, Dec 17: After its grand success in Bangalore, 'Career Utsav', South India’s largest education fair is all set to rock the city of Mangaluru.
Mangaluru will host the first-ever mega education fair on December 20 and 21 at TMA Pai Convention Hall, MG Road.
The main objective of Career Utsav is to assist students pursue their dreams rather than succumb to the highly underestimated parental, peer or societal pressure or misjudge and overlook the fine line between what seems achievable and what they think they want.
The first-ever edition of Career Utsav in Mangaluru will host an arena of workshops and conferences to present and showcase the variety of options offered by the participating colleges and universities. Twelve different detailed workshops will be conducted on engineering, law, medicine, design, fashion design, animation, etc. The mega education fair is expected to see participation from all the colleges in and around Mangaluru.
There will be speaker sessions and workshops for both students and parents to provide clarity and information on various options available to help them choose the right careers. The event will see over 100 leading schools and colleges and participation of over 60 brands, universities and institutions, making it the first of its kind event. All top colleges and institutions across the nation are education partners for this Mega event. The event will see participation from big institutions and organizations like MVJ College of Engineering, PES University, SRM University, Oxford Institution’s, REVA University, Alliance University, AIMS, SAMBHRAM Group, Don Bosco, IES, SBI, TVS, and INOX, to name a few.
Various stalls will also adorn the fair and educate students on different promising education streams like interior designing, digital film making, jewellery designing, photography, journalism, navy, hotel management, retail business, event management, IT, web designing, ethical hacking, disaster management, stock broking, IAS, IPS, IELTS, IIT JEE, insurance, law, nursing, modeling, hr and travel and tourism among others.
The Career Utsav ’14 will be the first of its kind career and education fair which will be conducting psychometric tests, free counseling, mock CET test, various scholarship tests etc. The youth will also get 3D Dirt biking experience which is being showcased for the first time in Karnataka. The organizers will be distributing over 10,000 career guidance books to plus-2 students of over 75 schools and colleges who will be attending the education fair from across the city. They are leaving no stone unturned to make this event one of the pioneer education events, thereby making it stand apart from the rest of the fairs that are organized throughout the year.
