Mangaluru, Dec 18: "ICYM conducts noble deeds in the society and is being praised for it" said ICYM director of Mangaluru diocese Fr Ronald D’ Souza.

He was speaking as the chief guest in the cultural programme held on the occasion of inauguration of new building for Lady of Mercy church in Fajir.















Diocese southern zone chief priest Fr Gregory D’ Souza, Fajir grama panchayat president Florine D’ Souza, Fr Paul D’ Souza, parish priest Fr Stany Pereira, St Joseph school headmistress Sr Anny D’ Souza, Br Stany Pinto, Fajir Church welfare committee Vice president Victor Monteiro and Secretary Felix Monteiro were present as guests.

Karnataka state Rajyotsava awardee drama actor Devdas Kapikad was felicitated on the occasion.

Fajir ICYM president Joy D’ Souza welcomed. Rima D’ Souza and Nitesh D’ Souza compered the programme. Pritam D’Souza introduced Devdas
Kapikad. Wilma Lobo proposed Vote of thanks.

As part of cultural programme ICYM group presented dance and 'Bale Cha Parka' team presented ‘Eer Undara..’ a Tulu comedy drama on the occasion.
