Mangaluru, Dec 19: St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated its third annual day at the Gonzaga School ground on Thursday, December 18.

The programme began with a captivating welcome song by the tiny tots of kindergarten. Fr Joseph D’Souza SJ welcomed the gathering.

The highlights of the special events of the year were briefed by the principal Grace Noronha supported with a power point presentation. Fr Denzil Lobo S J, rector St Aloysius College Institutions presided over the function. Dr Jacinta D’Souza, former principal of Roshini Nilaya was the chief guest.

The chief guest addressed the gathering and advised the parents to give quality time for children and nurture them with love and care. Rector Fr Denzil Lobo SJ delivered the presidential address highlighting about the importance of Jesuit tradition for striving towards excellence and moulding the students into better human beings.

The school teacher, Aparna Suresh proposed the vote of thanks. Master Leon Miranda and Miss Carol Michael Furtado of class IV compered the programme.

Cultural programmes depicted the talents of the students that added flavor to the evening’s programme. The programme concluded with the school anthem.
