    What a heart breaking seen...
As a resident of this place from my childhood I know how much busy since early morning 5 am.. Because around 5 am residents from Swamilapadavu will carry vegetables to bajpe bus stop to transport the same to mangalore city market, cultivated in and around bajpe. Because of the international status of the manglaore airport, lot of vehicles are running to and from airport. Heavy vehicles like tippers, loaders diggers are running because of SEZ, MRPL and MSEZ near BAJPE.
Pathetic condition of the roads in bajpe also results in accident. Why they can't put a signal near Poovapannas petty shop?
This accident happened inbetweeen carry boy nillus Pinto Garden and Harisha Puthu's restaurant which is very busy in morning because of schools and colleges ....
Any how one precious lost.. May her soul rest in peace....

Every second day we read about accidents, rapes, murders and robberies. It is expedient that the hand of law comes down severely on the perpetuaters of the type crimes. It is either a tipper running over persons or bus killing individuals because of over-speeding.

Mangalore or for that matter D.K. district are no more places where a private motorist or one driving a two wheeler is safe.

It is felt that the department of Law and order is understaffed and therefore the Government should find a way to supplement the police force with re-enforcements.

We need to protest and not just sit and comment. This will keep on happening as we public do not take any initiative but only write comments and forget it. Shame on me

So saddened to hear the bad news of a young girl who lost her life. It is not just the life lost but the chunk of a heart and ambition of her parents too has lost. About Mangalore roads, whether we change the name from Mangalore to Mangaluru, Singpuru or New Yorku. The basic fact remains same. Road accident will never change in Mangalore. We get carried away when our favourite political party wins the election. Does anyone question the elected that what changes you would bring for the betterment and convenience of the citizen. Time to change!

What is the use of saying rest in peace rest in peace? Roads must be widened and larger vehicles must have separate roads to avoid collision with smaller vehicles. Instead of giving 5 cents land to build house govt can widen the roads but unfortunately govt is bothered only about vote bank ! No use of saying RIP!

This is the fault of our Traffic department who is always negligent about these killer drivers, specially who drives recklessly on these narrow roads with their ap tippers. Our people must revolt against these drivers and hold these kind of innocent killings. Please note this innocent girl tomorrow may be one of us.
