For sure Arun might have been helped by the ruling Khangress party forces in every walk during this marathon looting. The party's minority appeasement tactics were utlised to its full potential to amass such a huge sum. Anyways Merry Xmas.

This wealth was not amassed overnight....It started when the BJP was in power in Karnataka while Yeddy and his Reddy/Cheddy gang was looting tax payer's money...

The total cost of the raid may be somewhat 1 crore only. At least 0.2 is profit. Whether big or small it is wrong. Having said that, gravity of the corruption must be analised prior to conducting such major raids. It is shame that our officers are wasting their valuable human resources running after such small petty corruptions. Sad.. very sad.

This could be one small fish in a pond and may have had a complaint and therefore, was raided. I don't think the authorities can do the same with all such persons because of political interferences. Nevertheless, Lokayukta officials are in news once in a while and justify their positions.

There is no more shame than being caught as corrupt. If a junior engineer can amass such a wealth then what about higher officials. Why to go to swiss bank for black money when we have enough in our backyard.

You are utterly wrong about that. That was in the old ages - feeling ashamed to be caught for corruption or any other crime.
Nowadays getting caught in any crime is a Star on the shoulder, medal on the chest and will be honoured\talked about with awe more than anybody else.
Just see how you yourself give so much respect to the Ministers\Govt. officials after paying bribe for some of your work to be completed.
So is the case with me and many others too.
We wish them to be caught but who is there to catch when the catcher also is in the same category!!!
