Thirthahalli: Nandita death - Threat call 'traced' to Kolkata

Thirthahalli, Dec 21 (DHNS): The threat call received by Town Panchayat member P C Satish Shetty allegedly for his statement in connection with the mysterious death of Nandita, has been traced to Kolkata, according to sources in the police.

On Dec 10, Shetty reportedly told the local media that Nandita’s parents were aware that the girl had consumed poison. Shetty had said that it was Santosh Pujari (a relative of T G Krishna, the father of the girl), a Bajrang Dal leader, who instigated the family to include abduction, sexual assault and other charges in the complaint with an intention to give a communal twist to the incident. The plaint was lodged on Oct 31 after the girl died at KMC hospital in Manipal.

Meanwhile, Shetty had lodged a plaint on December 16, alleging that he had received life threatening call by a person who claimed himself as an associate of gangster Ravi Pujari on the night of Dec 15. The caller had asked Shetty to withdraw his statement else face “dire consequences.”

According to sources in police department, the caller was from Kolkata. He is said to have obtained the SIM card by furnishing Kolkata address. A police team is likely to be sent to Kolkata for collecting more information. When contacted, Superintendent of Police Kaushlendra Kumar told Deccan Herald that the investigation was on and it was yet to be ascertained whether the caller was from Kolkata or not.

By this tel. call now it is more or less confirmed some politicians and or some groups are involved in creating trouble using this sad death of Nandita. Hope the detectives traces the caller and the mystery will unfold and the mischief makers are severely punished.
Congress Govt. is doing everything possible to unfold the mystery of this poor girl Nandita's sad death.
But some evil forces are playing games.
Hope the parents of the girl realize soon enough and do not fall into unnecessary troubles because of someone else.

RIP Nandita. Even Shobakka raised the issue of Nandita in Loksabha.... What did she got / achieved ????/. Why only Nanditas case ????? why Shobhakka did not raise the issues relating to so many unnatural deaths like Rathna kotari, Sowjannaya, Padma priya and hundreds of cases....Instead of raising in Loksabha, she should have discussed with the central home minister...... It is nothing but showbazi ....
