Mangaluru, Dec 22: In a hearty gesture, Dreamzz UAE celebrated Christmas with the less privileged children of ‘Bala Yesu Nilaya’, Maryhill on the theme 'Christmas with orphans' on Sunday December 21.

The Dreamzz UAE team entertained the children with carol singing and games. The excitement among the children was evident as they too exhibited their talents by performing dances. Later, gifts and sweets were distributed to all the children much to their delight and joy.

The programme was ably coordinated by Vivek, while music was given by Joy Fernandes and coordinated by Lancy Sequeira. The vocals were by Sylvia, Margaret, Jovita, Joylyn, Ankita, Sumitha, Vinitha, Anitha, Ratan, Mamatha, Cressila and Joselyn.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the games organized by Vinitha. Happy little faces enthusiastically participated in games like passing the hat, bombing the city, fire on the mountain and so on.

Sr Judith Mary, superior of Bala Yesu Nilaya said she was glad to see the joyful faces of the children. "It was very good programme. It was well planned and they mixed with the children like a family. The singing was solemn, the children also enjoyed. The message was good, stressing on values of peace, joy and love. I wish to see to the children happy every day, and we want a programme like this to happen every year," she said.

Sr Sebastian, Sr Sujyothi, Sr Premika, Sr Janet Maria were also present. The members of Dreamzz UAE consisted of Roshan, Archie, Mamatha, Cleevan, Cress, Asha, Sachu, Antony, Reeva and Anil.

The programme was compered by Jude Fernandes.

A delicious Christmas lunch was also organized for the children, followed by their dance. It was a joyful and memorable day for both the children and the team of Dreamzz UAE.

This was the fourth time Dreamzz UAE shared Christmas joy with the underprivileged. Last year, the team celebrated the festival with the inmates of St Antony’s Home for the Poor, Jeppu. The team is driven by the motto of bringing smiles on the faces of the less fortunate, and as in previous years, this time too, they succeeded in their mission.
