Bengaluru, Dec 26: Kannada actor Anant Nag has escaped unhurt after the car in which he was travelling met with an accident.
The accident took place near Kanminiki on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway few kilometres away from Bengaluru, on Thursday, December 25.
Anant Nag was returning to Bengaluru after participating in the shooting of Darshan starrer movie ‘Airavatha’ in Mysuru.
It is gathered that the speeding Innova in which the actor was travelling hit a cab head on. The impact of the accident was such that both cars veered off the highway. Anant Nag’s car luckily came to a halt because of a stone barricade besides the road.
While the driver of Innova car was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment as he had sustained fractures, Anant Nag escaped unhurt.
The front side of the Innova car has been totally damaged in the accident.
Traffic on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway was disrupted for some minutes after the accident.
The police who arrived at the spot arranged another car for Anant Nag to proceed to his place.
