Udupi: Christmas night tragedy - 25-yr-old dies in bike accident near Moodubelle

Udupi, Dec 26: A youth died in a bike accident near Moodubelle here late night on Thursday December 25.

The deceased has been identified as Henil Mathias (25), son of Henry and Leena Mathias, residents of Shirva.

It is learnt that Henil had been to Moodubelle to attend a Christmas party at a relative's house on Thursday evening. 

At around 10.30 pm, on the way back to Shirva, his bike reportedly skidded and hit against a tree near Moodubelle. Henil is said to have died on the spot.

Henil had been working in Saudi Arabia, and had recently left the job and returned to his hometown. He was trying for a job in another Gulf country, sources said.

    A very sad and tragic news. May the soul of Henil Mathias rest in eternal peace. Life is short but his life has been made shorter. All his dreams and achievement in his life has gone. But anyway it was God's will and he his in his kingdom.
