M'luru: Additional block, facilities added to AL Badriya PU College

Mangaluru, Dec 26: Badriya Jumma Masjid Muslim Jamaath (R), Krishnapura organized the inauguration of additional school block, administrative office and computer lab & science laboratory in Al Badriya Composite P U College on Friday, December 26.

The new administrative office and computer lab was inaugurated by Oscar Fernandes, former Union minister. After inaugurating the administrative and computer lab, he told the students to imbibe scientific attitudes which will help them in building their career in future.

“Any community without education is considered as downtrodden community. Education is power”, said Al Haj K Rehman Khan, former union minister after inaugurating additional school block.

Guest of honour MLC Ivan D’ Souza, Al Haj K Mohammed Arabi, chairman Mak group of companies Mangalore, Tilak Raj, Ayaz Ahmed, Gunashekhar Shetty corporator, MCC Mangalore were present on the occasion.

The programme was presided over by MLA, Mangalore North Mohiyuddin Bava. The welcome address was given by Al Haj B M Mumtaz Ali, president Badriya Jumma Masjid & Al Badriya Educational Association & Office bearers of Badriya Jumma Masjid & Al Badriya Educational association & former president. Principal Zohara Abbas, head master Sathish were present.

Mohammed Ali N M P T compered the programme. Gunavathi Ramesh proposed the vote of thanks.
