Puttur: Labourer falls from building after lintel beam gives way, dies

Puttur, Dec 31: A labourer died after falling off a building here on Wednesday December 31.

Salim (41) from Kasargod is the deceased.

Salim fell off a building named Ruby Towers which is situated in the heart of the town near Syndicate Bank.

Salim worked as a labourer in the building. He was also staying in the same building.

At around 7 am while he was arranging to fix a plank on the fourth floor of the building, the lintel beam came lose and Salim lost balance. He fell and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to the government hospital in the town.

Puttur police who visited the spot have registered the case.

    This is called QUALITY CONSTRUCTION..We congratulate the civil engineers fraternity..the architects.... the designers.. the contractors..the builders and the city/municipal engineers for their devote and professional work in KILLING FIELD..

    shame on out MUNICIPALITY with DHARMARAAJ and co..nexus of politicians giving jobs to BOOTLEGGERS AND THIRD CLASS SUBCONTRACTORS WHO DO NOT KNOW THEIR ARSE FROM THEIR ELBOW of construction .where are our Engineers?

    A young death ... always saddening. We just gotta remember through the tough that allah's place is much better than this place.
