Mangaluru: Man falls from terrace to death

Mangaluru, Jan 2: A person named Ganesh Prasad (23) fell from the terrace of a five storied residential complex near M G Road in the city on the night of Wednesday December 31. He was from Bengaluru.

At around 11.30 pm, Ganesh went to terrace, simultaneously eating out of a plate held in one hand. He slipped down after losing balance and fell down and suffered grave injuries.

Ganesh was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment, but he did not survive in spite of being treated there.

Sources said Ganesh had come to his aunt's home here to appear for a competitive examination. A case relating to the accidental death was registered in Kadri police station.
