Mangaluru: Manjunath Bhat's solo exhibition 'Himathorana' inaugurated

Mangaluru, Jan 2: The maiden solo exhibition 'Himathorana', of young photographer Manjunath Bhat was inaugurated in Mangaluru on January 1,2015.

The Himalayan mountains in the north and Western Ghats in the south of India, form the natural boundary and beauty of the country. However, most people only watch these from a distance and do not venture to climb them.

Manjunath Bhat, professional photographer and assistant editor, ‘Udayavani’ online, took pictures of the Hima Giri Valley in Sonmarg. The pictures were exhibited in Prasad Art Gallery.
























The exhibition was inaugurated by senior photographer Yajna Acharya. Harikrishna Punaroor, former state president, Kannada Sahitya Parishad, presided over the programme. Addressing the gathering, he praised Bhat's adventorous nature and hardworking skills.

Pradeep Kalkura, president, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Sahitya Parishad, K Anand, assistant editor, ‘Udayavani’, Mangaluru, and Manohar Prasad, head, department of news, Udayavani, Mangaluru, who were the chief guests at the programme congratulated Bhat and wished him all the best for his future.

'Himathorana' will be held from January 1 to January 4. All art lovers are requested to support this young talented man.
