Kundapur: Cartoonist Sathish Acharya's name figures in Forbes Magazine

Kundapur, Jan 4: The name of cartoonist from the town, Sathish Acharya, has figured in prestigious Forbes Magazine as one of the chosen few from India. Sathish has risen to international fame due to his talent and hard work.

Sathish Acharya's name has been listed in the said magazine among the leading personalities who are thought to spread India's excellence through their imagination and thought processes. The magazine introduces Sathish as a Mangaluru-based cartoonist par excellence, whose ideas about Indian politics and sports fields have come out through subtle lines of his cartoons that have succeeded in painting integrated overview of these fields.

The lists out 24 persons including former Infosys director, Mohandas Pai, who is currently involved with Manipal Group,

Sathish, whose cartoons appear in several leading publications, has been identified as one of the foremost cartoonists of the country. Born and brought up in Kundapur, Sahtish went to Mumbai after securing MBA degree seeking livelihood. By sheer accident he turned a full time cartoonist. Since the last some years, he has settled in the town, and has emerged as a globalized cartoonist.
