Kasargod: Man from Manjeshwar passes away at Sharjah

Kasargod, Jan 5: Hasanabba Abdul Karim (48) from Manjeshwar in the district breathed his last at Sharjah, UAE, due to cardiac arrest on Saturday January 3. He was the resident of Kalladka in Bantwal taluk before shifting base to Manjeshwar.

Karim was working for a courier company at Sharjah since the last four years. On Saturday morning, at the time he left his residential quarters for the office, he suddenly collapsed. Some people arranged to take him to a hospital, but he died on the way. The hospital staff said that he was brought dead.

He had worked in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for 15 years before beginning to work in Sharjah four years back. After marrying a girl from Manjeswhwar, Karim had begun to live at that place a few years after his marriage, which took place 22 years ago.

He is survived by wife and three children. It is learnt that his funeral will take place at Sharjah.
