KCO Abu Dhabi to organise Throwball and Volleyball tournament on Jan 16

Abu Dhabi, Jan 6: Konkani Cultural Organisation (KCO) in Abu Dhabi will be organising 'KCO Throwball and Volleyball Tournament 2015' on Friday, 16 January 2015 at Abu Dhabi Indian School Ground.

Sports lovers will get one more chance to exhibit their talent in the tournament.

The tournament will be conducted in the following categories: a) Ladies Throw ball Tournament b) Men’s Throw ball Tournament c) Men’s Volleyball Tournament.

KCO President Michael D’Silva, has extended a warm invitation to all the sports enthusiastic to participate or witness this event and support their favorite teams.

Moreover, the match will commence in morning at 8.00 am and is open for the teams/members dwelling in UAE. Teams will be segregated into pools and matches will be played on league basis.

The pools will be drawn on the spot in the presence of the team captains. Rules of the tournament will be available on request and the players will also be briefed about the rules prior to the tournament.

Trophies will be awarded to the winners and runner up teams. Prizes will be awarded to best player and best smasher of the tournament in each category.

Free lunch will be served to all the participant teams.
