Mangaluru: City corporation accused of cheating, failing to credit PF

Mangaluru, Jan 6: The city corporation and its officials have been accused of failing to credit provident fund deductions affected in respect of employees working in the water supply department of the city corporation here.

In a complaint filed in Barke police station here, an employee working in water supply department of the city corporation has alleged that the officials of the corporation, who had deducted Rs 4,16,600 from 260 employees of the department, had failed to credit this amount to their individual provident fund accounts.

Terming this as cheating, the employee, identified as Nalinaksha, has sought suitable action against erring officials.
