Bengaluru, Jan 6: A person, who was in depression since the death of his daughter, committed suicide near the grave of his daughter.
Erappa (90), resident of Ganapathinagar near Rajagopal Nagar in the city, ended his life in this way in the early hours on Monday January 5. His daughter had died four years back, and Erappa, who felt the absence of his daughter very much, was in a state of depression since then, it is said. He hanged himself near the grave of his daughter that is located in the backyard of his house.
A neighbour, Sriramu, saw what had happened on Monday morning and conveyed information to the relatives of the deceased, the police said.
