Saudi king recovering


Riyadh, Jan 6 (IANS): Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz is recovering after being hopitalised with pneumonia, media reported Tuesday.

Crown Prince Salman, the deputy premier and defence minister, has reassured the public about the health of the king, Arab News reported.

King Abdullah was admitted to King Abdul Aziz National Guard Medical City in the capital with pneumonia Dec 31.

He had earlier been placed on a respirator that helped him breathe easier.
