Kundapur, Jan 7: Accu Puncture and Accu pressure methods of treatment by inserting sharp needles on the skin or tip of the finger was popular in China 8000 years ago before the arrival of Christ. It lost prominence though as the years went by.

However doctors who treat patients by that method have studied it in India and are employing it in different parts of the state using Accutouch.

These doctors treat patients in camps once in fifteen days and had come to the coast for the first time. The camp was held in front of the house of Abdul Byari at Hemmadi Santhoshnagar. Camps have been held in Hemmadi in Kundapur for the last one month.

Patients rushed to the place in huge numbers right from morning. The owner of the house opined there were 150 people during the camp held fifteen days ago. This time the number crossed 500. Doctors believe that chest pain, blood pressure, diabetes, gas trouble and loss of memory get cured here.

“A fixed amount of Rs 200 is charged for each patient. The treatment is free for small children below three years of age and for the very poor. A part of the amount will be distributed among the poor and the remaining amount will be used to start a college for Accutouch,” said Dr Sayyed Shabbir the doctor in the camp. Irfan, a local said that many illnesses not been identified elsewhere were cured here within two or three days.

On the whole the cure of illnesses without medicines or restriction on eating habits using Accutouch made the local people curious.

    Hi All,

I am one of the healer who does the treatment over there. And let me tell you we are not Doctors. We practice Classical Acupuncture which was practices even before the invention of the metal (needle). Our moto is to save world without drugs. We believe in "We treat...Nature Cures". We are not giving anything to eat, so no question of side-effects. We recommend to follow natural instincts and we believe nature is never wrong. We fall prey to un-natural habits and spoil our health. Our intention is to make people realize the power of nature so that they do not go to anyone for treatment, not even come to us for treatment. Our body is self-sufficient to cure any disease. The medicine we take is just to give relief but the actual cure is done by body itself. If we take un-natural medications they will lead to side effects and will damage other organs. We say what ever is natural is good if you go against nature that will cause damage. Hope I was able to clear few doubts about this treatment.

many year back there was similar treatment by one Baba who was called as Chaku Choori Baba in Uchila. It was told that, he was treating blind patients only with a knife and people regained sight. I have witnessed thousands of people thronging there day and night and local people were selling Ganji. Then we don't know what happened but, it all was told to be a big bogus. Hope this will not turn into another medical scam.

why you thought like that? Any valid reason?

But i think the following is right.

Abu Hurayrah narrates that The Prophet pbuh said:
“There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its remedy.”
    Sahih Bukhari 7, Book71:582

Wonderful. Indeed this is a great boon to many. Acupuncture and acutouch are ancient theories and it is good to see that these are revived.

May the hands that heal be blessed.
