Universal Music to make Art of Living content available globally


New Delhi, Jan 8 (IANS): The Art Of Living organisation, of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, has released his discourse and music of the last 30 years in both video and audio formats. Over 2,00,00 hours of this content will now be made available worldwide through Universal Music India.

The record label Thursday announced that it will make the audio and video discourses of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar available globally.

Across categories like bhajans, chants and guided meditation, health and wellness, and instrumental, the label has released 51 albums in physical and digital format all over the world, except in US, read a statement.

The content is available across leading music stores and also popular e-commerce portals like Flipkart and Amazon, as well as digitally via sites like YouTube, Google Play, iTunes and Hungama. The content is also available on streaming sites like Saavan, Gaana, Wynk, Vodafone Music, Guvera and Beats.

"We are proud partners in this journey with Gurudev as we aim to take his message across the globe... We will do our utmost to help deliver this across all local and global platforms," said Devraj Sanyal, managing director, Universal Music Group, South Asia.
