Kasargod: Motor bike knocks down and kills pedestrian

Kasargod, Jan 9: In an accident which occurred at Adraguli in Vidyanagar here on Thursday January 8, a pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a motor bike.

The deceased has been identified as Madhavan Nair (48) from Bandadka Shankrapady. Madhavan was walking by the roadside, when a motor bike which came at high speed knocked him down. Nair was seriously injured in the accident. Although he was taken to Mangaluru for treatment, he could not be saved as the nature of his injuries were critical, it is learnt.

A case was registered in Vidyanagar police station in this connection. Investigations are on.
