Udupi, Dec 19: A memorandum was submitted by the Udupi Divisional Council of Life Insurance Agents under the Life Insurance Agents’ Federation of India at a protest staged in front of the LIC office here on Monday December 18.
A rally was taken from LIC branch office to the divisional office. The agents placed several demands such as dividends and extension of medical facility, pension scheme, implementation of provident fund and welfare fund and new facilities in view of the 50th year celebration of LIC.
The memorandum was submitted to the chairman of LIC.
Among those present were Federation divisional committee president Tippeswamy and general secretary K V Keshavamurthy.
