Udupi, Dec 20: Thieves who broke open into 'Jet International Travels' near City Bus Stand here have decamped with valuables worth Rs 63,000 on Monday December 18 night.

The thieves have made entry into the shop by breaking open the shutter.  The shop was locked on Monday evening.  So the theft took place between Monday night and Tuesday morning.  Theft came to light only on Tuesday morning when the office was opened for daily transaction.

The office deals in passport, emigration and ticketing.  The entire office was ransacked.  The thieves have stolen a computer, a printer, a fax machine, air tickets, passports and Rs 100 in cash.

One Mallika Shetty of Thenkabettu has filed a case with the town police in this regard.
