Mangaluru, Jan 14: The Bunder police in Mangaluru have arrested one person in relation to a theft from a garment shop. The prime suspect has fled to a foreign country and police are in the look out for another suspect.

The arrested person is Nawaz Kudroli.

As per details, the theft took place at Sagar dressers situated at Tokyo market. The theft was done on a daily basis for the past three years. Adil (21) who had been working at Sagar dressers during this period, is believed to be the prime conspirator in this case. Nawaz Kudroli owned the shop named Marina fashions in the same building as Sagar dressers.

Adil had a duplicate key for the rear door of the shop Sagar dressers. Adil who would turn up early for work, stole the items from the shop using the duplicate key and would supply to Nawaz Kudroli. He with the help of a person Safwan would sell the stolen items to different shops in the district through line sales.

Recently Adil had kept a bundle of stolen cloths near the generator of the building. The watchman of the building who saw the same with the address of Sagar dressers on it, informed the owner of the shop. When the owner checked his stocks in their shop, he discovered the theft.

When the initial case was filed on the theft at Bunder police station, Adil fled to a foreign country. The police who arrested Nawaz Kudroli seized goods worth Rs 1 lac from his shop. They also seized goods worth Rs 50,000 from Safwan's house. Safwan has been absconding. Kamruddin , the owner of Sagar dressers had complained to the police. The value of the stolen stock is estimated at Rs 40 lacs.

    Dear All,
If a car got accident we can not blame the car, similarly if a person does crime he is a criminal in-respect of his religion. criminals needs to punished to be severely with compensation to the suffered party. That is the bottom line, we should not defend any criminal, even if he is one of our friend/relative or from a same religion.

I would want see the comments in every article here without blaming the religion, political party or defending anybody since land of law will take its own course. We have to trust the judiciary as there is no other option. Always remember every action has a reaction, so if we keep dig the history/past to justify the action then there is no way to have a peaceful life. We educated people must think for the future of our next generation.

It might be a fabricated story. The stolen amount may be 40 thousand. Not in lacks. My be the buddu owner don't know how many zeros in a lack. B'coz most of the shop in Tokyo market are like a shower cubicle. So, how come it is a Saagar. Even not fit for a bore well....!

We are really ashamed with these kind of comment we see. one way you say Muslim brother & very next statement you shouldn't be writing on whole communities. In India stealing such a common practice & our Govt either put them behind bar few days but in gulf countries do you know what kind of punish they give for stealing? cut the hands. even if he is Muslim or non Muslim. culprit must be punished but no one has got rights to blame the whole community.

Poor Guy the owner trusted his workers....I think the owner is not educated but financially rich....and innocent....thats why he has not maintained proper Accounting records and also did not come to know about this incident....!!?? but still I am surprising how he did not notice when they theft worth 40 lacs(figure may be wrong)goods......
that means after theft also owner was getting good profit due to good margin of profit and good turnover.....

Might be the shop owner want to claim insurance, because first of all its been three long years and theft is unrecognizable. Second, the shop salesman who has stolen has fled to foreign country without any problem, and also his house is not seized like two others. Atlast, the shop owner claims the theft is worth whopping 40 lakh rupees, which is clearly untrue. Even if its 40 lakhs, how is that their account tallied for all this three years? Even if they missed, do they have a business of few crore per day?

    What a dignified looks.

Very strange to believe that the robbery had been taking place for the past three years and the management were unaware. Possibly, there was no end of year inventory process or maybe it was a team work which kept the management in the dark. Given few more years the shop would have been almost empty.
Robbing is a bad habit and one who encourages and supports robbery is worse than the robber himself. All of them deserve legal action and right punishment. Do not spare Dubai Kingpin.

    You are right ..!

But other way you can do this,if his name is NITHESH kudrepadau, not Nawaz kudroli.

Attack Bunder police station to release him.
    call for mangalore Bandh.
protest near DC office and call some dongi baba's and vomit some venom against some community's
if police officer interferes slap him.
    torch some shops.
    call Mutalik 420.for hatred speech.
If not satisfied call Harakubai Ishvarappppa to give poison statement.
next karnataka bandh and demand for DC ,SC transfer.
    poor lowlifes..!!!

    Ayub,
whatever 'actions' you have fantasized will happen IF the culprit was NITHESH in place of Nawaz, is a natural course of action.
    you know why?
if Nawaz is caught without any need for this 'action' our CONgi govt doing its appeasement politics will take the action by itself. End result of the actions you mentioned which is 'transfer of DC,SC' will be done by the government on the second day itself.
Unfortunately, majority people have to travel a longer route.
