UAE, Jan 17: ‘Health’ magazine published by the Gulf Medical University, promoted by Thumbay Group UAE has completed sixteen years of its presence in the UAE and Middle East.

Only publication of its kind, printed in English and Arabic (back to back) was started in April 1999 as part of the institution’s commitment to informative medical journalism.
Being in its 17th year of publication, the magazine is one of the longstanding health publications in the region. It is highly regarded, read and rated by healthcare professionals and general public in the region and globally.


With 124 pages of authoritative articles, the magazine focuses on lifestyle, luxury and beauty segments, and carryingreviews from experts, says Saadiya Ahmad, editor of the magazine.

With 20,000 copies every issue and a readership of over 75000, Health Magazine’s coverage area is spread across the UAE andreaches the Royal families, Sheikhs, government officials, ministries and embassies in UAE.

In addition to an extensive subscription list including leading medical institutions, medical equipment suppliers and pharma companies worldwide. Health Magazine is directly mailed to a select number of upscale households, meeting a specific criteria based on age, household income this includes the subscribers and the corporates. The magazine is also made available at select high- traffic destinations in target markets, including boutiques, hospitals and clinics, gyms, coffee shops, spa’s and resorts, leading stores, bookshops, hotels and malls.
