Koppal, Jan 19 (DHNS): In a shocking incident on Monday, a woman committed suicide by setting herself ablaze during the customary morning pooja at Swami Sivananda Math in Koppla district in Karnataka.
The victim has been identified as Prabhavathi (45), a disciple in the Math.
She also injured the main seer of the Math, Swami Sivananda Sri, as she fell on him while she was on fire.
The 80-year-old seer has reportedly suffered 80-85 percent of burn injuries and his condition is critical at a hospital.
