Mumbai, Jan 20: Actor Kamal Haasan's daughter who is all set to make her debut opposite Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan, said that when R Balki offered her the role, she felt that getting to work with a renowned director like him, would be an immense honour for her.

Akshara, said that she didn't even think that she might inadvertently ever mess up such a golden opportunity. She had met R Balki at a function and he voiced his thoughts how he might have a role that would suit her to perfection, when she had initially thought he might give her the opportunity to work as his assistant director. R Balki apparently came up to her and asked to speak aside with her for five minutes. Expecting to be given the opportunity of working as his assistant director, Akshara went to hear his proposition only to come away with her debut role as an actress.

R Balki apparently told her, 'There is a character which I have you on my mind for.' It was after this initial meeting that the director sat her down for a script discussion. Akshara says she felt an instant connect with the character Balki was talking about. Wanting to do her very best in her debut film , had caused her to become quite nervous. She hopes she has done a good job.

Releasing on the 6th of February, the film stars - Dhaush, Amitabh, Akshara and Rekha.
