The girl is a juvenile. The adult here is the father. The father who is supposed to protect his daughter ends up sexually assaulting her. Please do not insult the victim by blaming her. Ignorant comments like why did she not come forward before is unnecessary. A 15 year old is a school going child. The adult is at fault . Abuse victims get barely any support in India. Even when the victim notifies family of rape or abuse, the family is more concerned about the society than the victim and try to hush it up. Imagine how distraught this child was to finally reveal the abuse to her teacher.

Incest cases are not new in India , looks girl consensually had a affair so she can be equally blamed for spoiling sacred relationship of father and daughter. Moreover girls reporting to school teachers about the abuse and then child help line is prone to mis use. Malicious wives can use this as a weapon to trap innocent husbands. There is nothing in the news item to suspect the intentions of the girl, for Braganza to put the blame on the girl.

It is like putting salt on the wound. Do not do it.

Any 15 year youngster, especially, girls are wholly dependent on their parents for all their requirements.

If father himself exploits them, it is natural that they take some time to come out this shock, before approaching some one whom they feel confident.

If you feel law has to decide the case, then do not comment on the integrity of the girl also.

Sincere request pls watch today's episode of CODERED on colours at 10.30 pm showing how children are used by mafia,police in begging. the only way to stop this menace is to stop giving money to child beggars which ultimately goes to culprits and they may bring more children in begging. On looking these kind of scenario espcially in recent times feels like law that prevails in gulf countries must be implemented in India also... But is too scared that the innocent will also be the victims....

HE must be banned completly from contacting with the people/ community and also the place which he is living although he is proved innocent.

who is he, how many wives he had/has, is the victim is his biological daughter, why the victim did not inform mother, but teacher ....

if the mother is alive, how it can happen to the child & that is too for six months...

any psychiatric evaluation of the victim... what is her understanding about sexual harassment & is she mentally sound ?

my only concern is if he is innocent, can all the comments here , will it it bring back the lost dignity, forget about cutting private parts, shock treatment,stoning to death...etc. i am asking dignity.

please remember, he is accused, not convicted.

and there is no point is article about his version.

have patience, no violence. no question of any one of us taking law into the hand.

what i expect is fastest investigation of the case & conclusion.

It is 100% true that,if any blame to Male. Nobody thinks about truthfulness of complaint. All decide immediately and give judgement. In one survey, number t of innocent person were in jail (including their family members) because of dowry complaints / rape etc. Therefore SC has recently amended the law to prevent innocent to avoid punishment.
