Mangaluru, Jan 22: Police have arrested a person for allegedly engaging in unnatural sex with an animal in Mulky.
The person arrested is Santosh Talwar from Bijapur colony in K S Rao Nagara in Mulky.
Santosh is said to be of Gulbarga origin. He allegedly used a goat to derive sexual gratification.
It is said that Santosh brought a female goat which was tied to a post at a house in K S Rao Nagara and took it to his bathroom. The goat started crying out when Santosh engaged himself in the act. A woman saw the act alerted the local people.
The people caught Santosh and handed him over to police. The goat was taken to veterinary hospital in Karnad and the doctors have confirmed that unnatural sex with the goat was performed.
The owner of the goat has filed a complaint in the Mulky police station in this regard.
Santosh, a married man, has reportedly admitted to the crime. It is said that his wife separated from him for his extreme behaviour after drinking.
The local people have demanded that Santosh be driven away from the locality for this act.
A case against him has been registered in Mulky police station.
