Puttur: Car rams into scooter - Two from Gadag dead

Puttur, Jan 22: Two persons died in a collision between a car and a scooter near Kaikamba Colony here on Thursday January 22.

The deceased have been identified as Chandu Sab (35) and Shivayya (28), both from Gadag.

The accident occured when an Innova car plying from Bengaluru to Subramanya went out of control and rammed into the scooter. The car then went off the road.

Chandu and Shivayya who were on the scooter sustained grievous injuries. Chandu died on the spot while Shivayya breathed his last on the way to hospital.

Chandu and Shivayya were working in Subramanya Temple as staff.

A case has been registered in Kadaba police station.

    I am sure that everyone who drives on Mangalore streets have seen those Innovas and Fortuner models driving. Drivers wanted to show off that every other small car owners are poorer than Him. Drivers character shows that Dry Cow Dung Stinks when Rain soaks it.

    May their soul rest in peace.Most of the time we see accidents are happening with two wheelers and many lives are lost.It is the high time now for the traffic department to think twice and take stern measurement other wise this will not only continue,but will increase day by day.
