'Baby' beats 'Dolly...' in box office race

New Delhi, Jan 26 (IANS): Within three days of its release, Akshay Kumar-starrer “Baby” has grossed over Rs.35 crore, a figure much ahead of the over-Rs.10 crore-mark that Sonam Kapoor-starrer "Dolly Ki Doli" has managed.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, “Baby” earned Rs.36.07 crore in just three days, read a statement.

Also starring Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Danny Denzongpa, Kay Kay Menon and Taapsee Pannu, the movie revolves around an undercover unit, formed to keep an eye on the movements of terrorist groups.

Arbaaz Khan Production’s “Dolly ki Doli”, on the other hand, has garnered Rs.10.75 crore in three days.

The Abhishek Dogra-directorial, which features Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat and Rajkummar Rao, revolves around a conwoman who robs her grooms on the wedding night and runs away.

Akshay , Kay Kay , and Danny all are class actors , they should get more and more meaty roles. We need more movies like 'baby' , not some funky Masala stuffs.
