Udupi, Jan 26: A dispute regarding a vacant ground in Kota Padukere has become a cause for differences between groups from two communities. The situation has raised doubts in the minds of people as to whether the conflict that erupted over the same issue a few years back, would repeat now.

The place in question was guarded by police for a year. Now the dispute has emerged again as Sri Rama Bhajan Mandir and Urdu school belonging to the Muslim community have engaged in a verbal row regarding the issue.

The land measuring around 1.92 acres reportedly belongs to Sri Rama Mandir. Now, Sri Ram Mandir has stared erecting a compound wall in between the said land and the road. The Urdu school management which earlier argued that the width of the road would become smaller by the erection of the compound wall, has now put forward a new argument saying that the land belongs to the school and is used as a playground.

The Sri Rama Mandir management says that they have provided a margin of three feet from the road as per the panchayat rules and the newly concreted road has a sufficient width of 12 feet. The management also says that they are the rightful owners of the land.

It has been reported that so many arguments in groups have taken place in the area regarding the matter. Brahmavar circle inspector Arun B Nayak, Kota police station officer K R Nayak, Maple police station officer Ravikumar visited the place and have taken necessary measures so that no tension prevails in the area.

The land belongs to Arama devasthana samithi. All the document provided to police and court. But Indian law never give the judgement immediately. And for your kind information that this issue raised because of mosque matter. They want to build the mosque next to the Rama temple which local Hindus oppose this since beginning. Even panchayath also not given permission to Muslim to build Masjid. But they are tried forcefully to do this in earlier.

@SK : to know the onwer of land please get it from RTI..

And it is not udru school playground.. Local people started playing in temple area and it became play ground. No where its mentioned as play ground. 2 Temple exist in that area from 30 yrs.

Fact is few idiots trying to politicize this issue and so the construction is on hold. If land not belongs to ram mandir then why govt sanctioned money to build wall, road in that area.

Lets wait for the court verdict.

Education along with play ground for students of all castes and religions is more important. More over religious structures rise according to availability of money which need to be restricted as the more bigger the building more problem in maintaining its existence.

@vincy Dont talk without any knowledge..temple is built in the land which is considered pure..not a random land..if you notice most of the temples will be in interiors..not main roads..for us its not place of showoff or just structures..maybe it holds good for you

No surprise. Earlier land issued to Subrahmanya mutt handed over to khader's trust. Now this land also will be handed over to that school since that school belongs to minority and Mandir belongs to majority. Siddu will pass the order in no time. Wait and watch.

First prove, who is the legal owner of the land, Then we can discuss further.... let the real owner enjoy the land....It is none of our business.....First pls go and check Fekus face, it is heavily swollen due to the final slap of Athithi.... Urdu school is not some ones private property. It is owned by Govt....

Why can't make joint survey from District survey officials with 'BAJUDAR' notice party concerned.Encumbrance certificate for 15 years could be solved the problem of the owner of land title.I think both are DARKAS awarded by Govt of Karnataka which has T/C in case of "VIVADITHA BHOOMI"Un fortunately the issue is not taken as the merit of the case instead seen in communal lines. We are very backward and very weak in this(communal) issue.

Tahasildar/AC and survey officials need to look in to the matter on unbiased ground.

Have you ever seen or heard of a Temple committee making proper road to the temples? Have you heard any temples or worship places built with proper road margin and departmental guidelines followed?
They do not need roads, they need only temples, they need only structures built.
They are ready to unite if the objection party is a different community. But they never united for social causes.

    Villano,

Don't bring Babar masjid issue here. That litigation went up to SC and the Apex Court will decide it.Here it is a matter of title deed which could be fixed legal way.Ultimately legal verdict should honored by both parties if they will or not.

You are always finding fault with particular community and in this forum there are certain proxy names which are used whenever Sanghis taken for task.RSRB,ER,Vellano,Keshava...surprisingly these names are associated the place like Managlore-Bengalore,Mangalore-Mumbai,Mangalore-Dubai,Mnagalore-KSA etc etc!!!!!Spew venom as much as you could but I am amazed to see here the definition of 'law of diminishing marginal utility' is not applicable!!!Almost every commentator's behind the above said names are seen countering comments if Sanghis/Half Chaddis are taken for a task on merit!!!All these actions of you and your comrades typically looks like PAID INTERNET KARSEVAKS OF SANGHIS.

I would kindly request you not to use words like Half Chaddi, paid Karsevaks, Sangis, or any demeaning words to the colors of Khakhi and Saffron etc as it hurts the sentiments of Hindus the same way as Topiwala, kafirs, used in Maharashtra, black ghosts deeply hurt the sentiments of Muslims..It is sad that our political voters in this Country are deeply divided on basis of religion and caste only and that only and not by merit of case to case...It could have been considered that we Hindus are troublemakers and intolerant towards other communities, but what about the whole world, in Pakistan Shias vs Sunnis, in Bangladesh, in Mynmmar SriLanka and China, in France, UK and US, in Belgium, Germany. In Mid-East and Africa. This shows that introspection is needed and more tolerance towards other religions.
